Nein blog za siječanj

O Neinim praznicima u Finskoj i povratku u Hrvatsku pročitajte u njenom novom blogu!

Half of the January I spent in Finland. It was great to see my family and friends. I was also working in a Finnish school as a substitute teacher for two weeks, the Christmas holiday was quite a lot shorter in Finland than in Croatia.

My trip back to Croatia was pretty exciting. My flight was delayed for 50 minutes when we were leaving from Helsinki-Vantaa airport. That was also exactly the time between my flights in Munich. So I was sure that I will miss my connecting flight. Luckily when we arrived from Helsinki to Munich the flight was only 15 minutes late (what a great surprise!), and I ran to the gate of my flight to Zagreb. I made it! I was really happy about it.

It was really nice to come back to Croatia and meet all of you again. I missed Koprivnica and the school in Novigrad Podravski.

In January I also got a chance to visit the lower grades and tell about Finland. I was a bit nervous about that, because I don't speak Croatian almost at all, but it all went well. It was nice to notice how eager singers there are in grades from 1 to 4. We were singing both in Finnish and Croatian.

One more thing: if someone still wants to start Finnish, welcome along! It's not yet too late if you want to learn.
